Dr. Rocío Belda Montesinos, graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia, specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the MIR program at the University General Hospital of Valencia. With extensive experience in public hospitals and private clinics, she stands out for her comprehensive and personalized approach to women's health care.

Who is Rocío Belda Montesinos?

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia, Dr. Belda continued her training as a Medical Intern Resident (MIR) at the University General Hospital Consortium of Valencia, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Throughout her career, Rocío has worked in various public hospitals and private clinics, accumulating extensive experience in the gynecological field.

Her academic training is extensive and specialized, having completed several master's degrees in areas such as:

  • Gynecological Oncology
  • Lower Genital Tract Pathology and HPV
  • Breast and vulvar pathology
  • Uterine pathology
  • Menopause and Reproduction

This training has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the various facets of gynecological health and provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Specialties and Approaches

HPV and Early Detection

The centerpiece of her training focuses on her great passion: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) pathology, early lesion detection, and its management to protect women from potential unwanted complications.

Gynecological Endocrinology

Passionate about gynecological endocrinology, she delves into managing conditions such as infertility, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or premenstrual syndrome through integrative medicine. Her training experience in Natural Fertility Restoration is bringing new knowledge to apply to patients who need and desire it.

Menopause

Another of her great motivations focuses on helping women during the complex age of menopause, collaborating to maximize the positive aspects of this turbulent period. Advising on which treatments will benefit each patient can be challenging, and Dr. Belda will always strive to improve women's quality of life considering their particular needs. Delving into vulvar pathology, lichen sclerosus, libido disorders, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause is part of every menopause consultation, to integrate not only emotional problems but also sexual consequences.

Contraception, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and endometriosis

Without neglecting younger women, contraception counseling, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and endometriosis are part of her daily practice. Pelvic floor evaluation, chronic pelvic pain, and breast pathology are also integrated into the basic first consultation review, being very clear that the best management of these patients requires multidisciplinary counseling, with an expert team in each field that can provide excellence in the diagnostic precision of our patients.

Always with a smile, Dr. Belda will always strive to give her best so that you feel safe, calm, and heard. Foreign patients are welcome; with a high level of English, French, and Valencian, the doctor will have no problem assisting any patient who doesn't feel comfortable explaining themselves in Spanish.
